It’s a VOLUNTEER thing.

Way back in 1946, a group of caring and committed Orlando women came together and established a club based on friendship and community service.  Now so many years later the tradition lives on. 

The GFWC Orlando Junior Woman’s Club proudly invites you to come and visit our organization.  We meet on the 4th Thursday of each month at the Pine Castle Woman’s Club conveniently located on the corner of S Orange Ave and Oakridge Rd.  Meetings are from 7-9 and are always both fun and meaningful usually including a service project of some type. Food and drink is part of the fun and attendance is free.

Guests are always welcome and we warmly embrace the participation of women of all ages and backgrounds.

We know that growing our membership increases our circle of friends, adds new talents and insights to our group increasing our capacity to lovingly and creatively bring our support to the community.

Our volunteer load is light but members do have many opportunities to grow in leadership roles in areas of their interests.

We are part of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs, global in scope, and embrace our mother organization’s motto of Unity in Diversity.

To this end, members choose each year a committee that focuses on something that is near and dear to their heart. Our club organizes these as: arts and conservation, education and home life, public and international affairs, and children’s issues (this is a state wide initiative we call One Voice for Children).

A primary club goal is to seek ideas on ways we can pool our love and energy to do good.  We enjoy a wide variety of socials which serve to strengthen our bonds of friendship which is the backbone of our success. 

We hope you will love what we do as much as we do and decide to join us.  We keep our annual dues very affordable and accept new members throughout the year.
